Tandem Diabetes Care is a rapidly-growing company with an FP&A team that is growing with it. This role will be a key member of the FP&A team focused on the implementation, go live and ongoing support for our financial planning and forecasting software, Adaptive Planning. The successful candidate will have a passion for financial planning and data structures. Key areas will include preparing and managing consolidation of monthly and quarterly results, working to implement improvements to the financial planning system and developing insightful reporting, dashboards and analysis across the P&L from revenue through profit. Support the monthly close, consolidation and reconciliation processes in the financial planning software application. Under the guidance of the consolidations manager, become the primary operational owner and subject matter expert of the financial planning and forecasting software Adaptive Planning. Maintain system integrity, accuracy of the close and consolidation process and recommend enhancements to the forecasting software. Develop, test and implement changes to the forecasting software, provide end users documentation on financial system updates. Provide support for system requirements for ongoing reporting, forecasting, budgeting. Provide support for M&A integration activities. Support the consolidation and reporting of quarterly projections, Annual Operating Plan, and 5-year Strategic Plan Support preparation of monthly/quarterly presentations for the Executive team and Board of Directors Generate monthly forecast-to-actual reports and financial analysis. Support periodic forecasting process including quarterly earnings call preparation and annual budget planning. Drive continuous improvement in forecasting and reporting deliverables. YOU'RE AWESOME AT:
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, and planning applications. Ability to quickly develop working experience with ERP systems. Proven track record of reliable, detailed and accurate work product. Experience with Adaptive Planning and Power BI or similar financial systems. Ability to work with large data sets and draw appropriate & useful business conclusions. Ability to tie out large data sets with high level of accuracy. Flexibility to adjust to fluctuations in workload based upon changing priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) is a plus. High level of intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning. EXTRA AWESOME:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience. 5 plus years' previous experience in a financial planning and analysis role, business partnering or other finance area.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
