Summary The Scientist in Exploratory R&D will be responsible for process development and improvement. In particular, he/she will be involved in optimization and troubling of cell culture processes, in order to establish a consistent and improved cell culture method for primary cells, hybridoma cell lines, and other relevant cell types. This role will also support new product development for cell culture applications, such as media and supplements. Knowledge of process development in small and large scale is a plus. He/she must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. Be able to maintain good documentation practices of experiments and generate reports. Must be proficient in computer software use (Excell, Word, and Powerpoint). Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task. Must be collaborative and have good communication skills. S. with generally more than 12 yrs of relevant experience. M.S. with generally more than 6 yrs of relevant working experience. Ph.D. with generally 0 - 2 years of relevant working experience At least 1
years of experience in cell culture Preferred Qualifications - Education and Experience PhD in the sciences with 2 year's relevant experience, preferentially in immunology, biotechnology or pharmaceutical field, or Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience Experience in process development and optimization for hybridoma cell culture Experience in flow cytometry Media development experience for bioprocessing applications Condition of Employment Concerns regarding COVID-19 continue as positive cases are experienced in the communities in which we operate. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
