Job Summary The Resident Relations Specialist is responsible for providing world class customer service at all times to all.
While welcoming future residents to the property and actively helping current residents with their needs, the RRS will be expected to drive and retain revenue, lease apartments, support Affordable and Conventional administrative needs as assigned, strategize and implement ideas for resident functions and ensure that the resident experience at the community is the most positive one possible.

Improve retention by building a strong resident Follow up on prospect leads, set appointments, tour and lease to prospects.
Coordinate and facilitate resident events to maximize participation and Serve as the initial point of contact for all current residents.
Assist with general inquiries, concerns and/or complaints and appropriately direct the communication to the correct GK team members or departments.
Receive service requests and delegate them to the proper maintenance Assist Community Manager in the preparation of resident packets and documents for move-ins, unit turns and Possess a thorough understanding of community/apartment products, floor plans and amenities to identify opportunities to create value for residents and drive revenue.
Stay up to date with the competing market.
Process resident Ensure they are being handled and completed timely and accurately.
Complete additional administrative duties and projects requested by management and required for the role and overall office efficiency.
Take the initiative to participate in additional training Support sites as assigned and needed in the San Diego Region Other Responsibilities Perform additional tasks requested by management regarding overall operations of the Performs other duties as Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to adapt to various personalities and at times, assist with irate callers, residents, vendors and/or visitors of the property.
Possess extraordinary customer service Ability to multi-task, stay well organized and work under pressure with specified Knowledge of property management industry and fair housing Knowledge of Conventional and Affordable housing desired.
Knowledge of Affordable Housing, Project Based Section 8 and HUD experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office Minimum Qualifications Required High School Diploma and/or equivalent E.
