SUMMARY The Beverage Steward (Mayordomo de Bebidas) is responsible for a variety of receiving duties at the company's storerooms and receiving areas.
Ensures that stock is ordered, rotated, received, and correctly documented when issued.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES Maintains complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
Anticipates guest's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.
Maintains positive internal and external guest relations at all times.
Resolves guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Monitors and maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
Checks rotation of stock (FIFO).
Ensures storage procedures are followed.
Checks stock daily and conducts physical inventories.
Orders beverages as requested from manager.
Delivers product though out the property.
Processes and enter requisitions and receiving reports.
Monitors slow moving items.
Processes returned goods.
Processes all incoming and outgoing guest and internal packages.
Handles emergency deliveries.
Completes close out at the end of each day as requested by manager.
Documents maintenance needs on work orders and submit to Manager.
Attends Safety Meetings as requested by Manager.
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all hotel policies and standard.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
QUALIFICATION High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience managing beverage costs, inventories, orders/deliveries and representative relations required.
Previous similar position in top-quality restaurant or hotel is preferred.
Food Handlers Certification.
TIPS Certification.
RBS Certification Beverage and Wine knowledge required.
Beverage trend knowledge a plus.
Experience managing Sku systems.
Experience in dealing with the public is preferred, such as retail cashier, food industry service, guest service with public contacts, etc.
Ability to maintain a friendly, team-oriented, positive attitude and a professional appearance at all times.
Ability to be poised under pressure with continued smiles, and maintain a highly diplomatic attitude with challenging guests and under stressful circumstances.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift.

The pay scale posted is the salary or hourly wage range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position during the first year of employment.
