Summary:
As a Marketing Specialist you will plan, strategize, and execute campaigns that drive demand for Vervent including B2B, corporate, and DTC brands and products.
Campaigns may include credit bureau and affiliate management, email campaigns, reputation management, SEO, and paid advertising campaigns.
This role is responsible for representing Marketing across the organization, including leading PMO projects for the Marketing team and delivering successful execution, implementation, optimization, and reporting on all projects.
The Marketing Specialist will need to have a go getter attitude and must be a doer.
Project management excellence and superior organization skills are a must.
The role will ensure that all projects, communication, reporting and analysis are carried out in an effective, timely and accurate manner.
The Marketing Specialist will represent Vervent and the Marketing Team by being solution-oriented, productive, positive and they will be committed to continued process improvement and innovation.
This role is 80% project/tactical work and 20% strategy.
This position is hybrid.

If you're interested in reviewing the full job description, continue reading below Primary Responsibilities Increase acquisition and application flow through any/all channels available for Total Card, Total Select, Revvi, First Access, First Digital, First Progress, First Latitude and any other Vervent card programs.
Execute the development, performance and measurement of email, digital, direct mail, affiliate, in-market, remarketing, paid search and other types of campaigns.
Lead small and medium PMO projects on behalf of the marketing team.
Develop and deploy potential cardholder communication to drive interest and reinforce our value proposition.
Develop effective relationships with vendors, credit bureaus, partners, stakeholders, media and other parties to help raise awareness and drive traffic to our products.
Monitor and improve the image and reputation of the company through various marketing channels, including social media, recruiting channels and review websites.
Develop ongoing SEO strategies for B2B and DTC credit card websites.
Including backlinking, content planning and keyword research.
Manage the day-to-day marketing for our B2B corporate Vervent brand.
Work with stakeholders and copywriter to develop sales tools and content for our B2B business and sales team.
Research, develop and manage influencer partnerships and marketing for our DTC brands.
Use data to drive recommendations and utilize competitive insights, consumer trends and research to make audience, acquisition, and product recommendations.
Contribute to and maintain departmental quality and brand standards through exceptional presentation, listening and analytical skills.
Manage various ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
Position Requirements Bachelors in Marketing, Communication, Business Management or related field, 3-5 years of experience in marketing, business development or related field, or combination of relevant experience and education.
Project Management excellence and strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into action.
Superior organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, error-free output, deadline driven and the ability to easily translate next steps into quality direction or deliverables.
Experienced with Google AdWords & Analytics, non-branded analytics systems, WordPress, Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and general content management systems.
Design/copywriting expertise, cross-team collaboration and the ability to effectively work autonomously and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all audiences.
Physical Requirements The work is of an intellectual nature.
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is required to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
Specific vision abilities required include close and medium distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to hear normal sounds, distinguish sound as voice and communicate through human speech.
This position requires the ability to operate a computer, keyboard, computer mouse, cell phone, tablet, fax, copier, writing tools, and other standard office equipment.
