Job Description:
The Systems Architect position is accountable for infrastructure and network communications technical aspects required to support data center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Work on Technical Aspects regarding Data Center Infrastructure and Network Communications to support the project according to Request for Proposal Prepare Design document for Host Architectures and Network Communications Design Host Architecture for a project environment Design Network Communications for the project Lead a team of Systems Administrators to build out the Host Data Center environment for the project Work with third party consultants to build out network communications systems for the project Coordinate with vendors on hardware/software in ordering, purchasing and tracking Discuss with Development/product team for the requirements for the hardware/software to support their application; work with vendors to build out infrastructure to support Design an infrastructure to support Disaster Recovery for the project Meet with customers to gather requirements for various aspects of the projects; and provide recommendation of solutions and cost analysis Analyze different products for a specific technology, compare the different projects; and provide pros/cons comparison, and finally recommendations to Project Team Management Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience Required Skills &
Experience:
MCSA, MCSE preferred CCNA, CCNP will be a plus Be able to multi-task Experience in a Data Center infrastructure buildoutServers Networking Storage Security Advanced Knowledge in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Virtualization (Hyper-V or VMWare) Intermediate Knowledge in Networking (routing and switching) Intermediate Knowledge in SAN technologies Desired Skills:
5 to 7 years experience Knowledge in Security, PCI ComplianceCertifications in Security discipline a plus, such as CISSP, Security+, and PCI related Knowledge in Disaster Recovery Knowledge in various anti-virus solutions Knowledge in various backup solutions Knowledge in Cloud technologies Be able to understand the licensing model from different vendor, like Microsoft Knowledge in different hardware platform on servers, storage and networking from various vendors, like DellEMC, HPE, CISCO, Palo Alto Knowledge in VSS (video Surveillance system) and NVR system Salary Range:
$90,000 to $130,000 annually, based upon experience.
