25/hour SUMMARY Coordinates food service activities of establishment and helps ensure quality delivery of service by restaurant staff.

Responsibilities:
Assigns work to employees and monitors performance to ensure LJBTC, Inc.
's Signature Service standards are maintained.
Estimates food and beverage costs and requisitions or purchases supplies necessary to the Front of the House operations.
Confers with Sous chef, management and other service personnel to maximize menu options and related activities such as dining room, bar, and banquet operations.
Inspects food and food preparation to maintain LJBTC, Inc.
's Signature Service standards and sanitation regulations.
Delegates responsibility with follow-up to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.
Reviews financial transactions and monitors budget to ensure efficient operation, and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations.
At busy times, should be able to cover any position of the Dining Room Staff.
Monitors staffing levels and ensures that the floor is properly covered at all times.
Fills in as needed by business demand on the dining floor and in the bar.
Other duties may be assigned.
OUTCOME As a team leader, the supervisor will strongly influence guest impressions of the total organization.
Additionally, the supervisor will provide needed support and guidance to the Dining Staff to ensure LJBTC, Inc.
's Signature Service standards SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the unit in the absence of a restaurant manager.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associates degree (A.

) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees of organization.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must have and maintain a current Food Handlers Card and RBS certificate.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Ability to use a networked PC effectively with a working knowledge of word processing software such as (WordPerfect or Word) and spreadsheets such as Lotus 1-2-3 (or Excel).

SCHEDULING This company operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Shifts will generally be rotated unless you were hired for a specific shift, as much as possible to be fair to everyone.
At times it may be necessary to move you from your accustomed shift if business or task assignments demand.
In addition, it should be understood that business needs determine the number of hours that you work.
