Commercial Construction Superintendent

As Superintendent, you will own the day to day supervision of all field activities on multiple construction projects.
Primary duties include oversight of teams, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and that work is proceeding on schedule.
Superintendent is also responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control and job site safety.
Projects are located throughout San Diego County.
Responsibilities:
Schedule and manage teams and subcontractors on a daily basis, monitor and oversee performance.
Ensure that subcontractors are executing and complying with contracted scope of work.
Manage project timelines and budgets.
Update project team (Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Architect or Space Planner and Client) regarding ASI's, RFI's and submittals.
Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment.
Perform quality control and coordinate required inspections.
Requirements:
5
years of experience as a Superintendent with a general contracting company.
Prior experience working on multiple tenant improvement projects simultaneously.
Proficient in reading and understanding blue prints, plans, specifications & shop drawings.
Proficient in MS Word / Excel / Project Professional written and verbal communication skills.
