Summary:
The MS Power Platform Administrator will support eBusiness process enhancement efforts and provide hands-on technical expertise to design and implement Power Platform based solutions that streamline and improve business process procedures, communications, and information sharing.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Utilize business acumen and technical expertise to work side-by-side with business process owners to support the review and documentation of current state business process procedures and tool sets.
Assess targeted processes for ability to enhance/transition using best fit power platform applications.
Identify areas and processes where Power Platform and Microsoft 365 can be utilized.
Leverage knowledge and experience with MS power platform applications (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, Forms, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint) to develop and deliver solutions for the client.
Train/coach clients and team members to effectively utilize Power Platform tools.
Keep up with the latest industry trends and convey best practices.
Collaborate closely with a variety of organizations to ensure the schedule of deliverables are meet in accordance with client requirements.
Location:
San Diego, CA (on-site 2-3 days per week; 2-3 days telework) Skills & Abilities:
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Ability to transition quickly and assess priorities to meet aggressive and changing deadlines.
Ability to document as is business processes and identify process improvement areas.
Experience working with SQL Server, SQL scripts and SSIS packages (detect and correct problems within SQL scripts).
Familiarity with cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience managing MS Power Platform (Power BI and Power Automate).
Experience in data warehousing projects, data preparation, and data gateways.
Experience with Business Intelligence analytical tools such as SSRS, SSAS & SSIS.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Proficient in troubleshooting computer issues Excellent customer service skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Power Platform applications (Power BI, Power Automate) Understanding of relational database model principles.
Understanding of Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) data integration principles.
Understanding of agile methodology as it relates to the software development lifecycle.
Knowledge of JavaScript and SQL Active DoD Secret Clearance 1-2 years DoD experience (3
preferred) 1-2 years of MS Power Platform (MS Power Bi, Power Automate, or related experience) (3
preferred).
