Our Restaurant Host is to be involved in all aspects of the dining flow including greeting guests and showing them to their table or waiting area.
This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Job Requirements:
Greet guests as they enter and put them on a waiting list as necessary Provide guests with menus and answer any initial questions Assign and seat guests at tables while keeping table rotation and dining flow in mind Actively engage with guests to ensure they're happy with the food and service Answer phone calls to take reservations, answer questions, etc.
Assist others with side working including but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, running food, etc.
Perform opening and closing duties as necessary Job
Qualifications:
Ability to follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures to prepare food and beverage items Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary Ability to work well in stressful situations Ability to extend professionalism and courtesy to guests at all times The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
