Staffing Management/Scheduling Interview and Screening of potential service employees.
Supervision of Front of House Staff, when required.
Management of Event Captains or Lead Managers Coordinate and maintain staff scheduling and assignments to assure all San Diego (Local) scheduled event(s) have appropriate Front of House and back of House staff levels for required service.
This includes the scheduling of the BTS warehouse and logistics staff in coordination with the Warehouse Manager or Director of Operations.
Culinary staff scheduling shall continue to be managed by the company Executive Chef, however, for on-site events, culinary staffing needs are to be coordinated between the Operations Manager or Director and the Executive Chef.
Major Project Events (Rose Bowl Game, Farmers Insurance Open, SuperBowl, etc.
) will require the assistance and support of the Staffing manager.
These large scale events and their staffing needs shall be coordinated with the position's direct supervisor, BTS Director of Operations.
Utilize our staffing software system(s), Nowsta, Uattend, Tri-net, etc to recruit and broadcast available shifts and track staff hours.
Work with our HR Manager and Director of Finance to gather all required paperwork from new hires, and onboard new staff into BTS systems.
Work with Director of Operations to manage large event staff requirements and fulfillment Human Resources Duties Responsible for Posting of new job openings on BTS Tri-Net Platform Responsible for initial screening and interview of new candidate employees Responsible for collection of all Staff Time sheets and assuring they match with digital time sheet Assuring new hires receive and have submitted all proper paperwork as well as employee handbook, disclosures, and other employment forms and documents before they are allowed to depart the work site Special Projects Work with BTS Director(s) and/or Managers on special projects.
Assist and develop tracking and event staff costing reports, as required.
Creation and implementation of operational staffing systems and procedures to be carried out by permanent and on call staff.
Restructuring and implementation of employee training and education program.
Other special project duties, yet to be determined.
Off-site Event Management Staff Planning and staffing logistics for off-site special events, including large scale events (i.
e.
Olympics, Rose Bowl, 3 Day Walk, etc), as assigned by Director of Operations.
Assure all events/venues are properly staffed with BTS core service personnel or temporary agency personnel to assure most efficient and cost-effective results that are within the indicated budget parameters.
Management Reporting/Responsibilities Work with BTS Management Team to assure proper communication and information dissemination between BTS Management Team and staff.
Attend and participate in regular management staff meetings during event period(s).
Provide regular updates and reports as to progress and issues relating to assigned event(s) / venue(s).
Maintain overall integrity of assigned BTS Special Events.
Provide company President and/or Director of Operations regular updates on staffing/HR duties status, as requested.
Skills Required:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
