Construction Laborer

The Construction Laborer will work in support of field operations on the project site.
The workload is as directed based on the course of construction.
Must follow all rules, guidance, and direction as given to ensure safe work is being performed.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Sweep and clean areas of the construction site.
General housekeeping during construction, this includes but is not limited to the removal of waste,clearing pathways, and movement of materials as needed.
Watering the site to mitigate dust concerns.
Manning Lifts as needed, to ensure the movement of personnel.
Act as a spotter for Lifts on-site as needed.
Manning the Gate to allow material deliveries, to prevent public access, and as needed to ensure a safe secure site.
Traffic Control to assist vehicles in finding authorized entrances, exits, parking areas, and loading and unloading zones.
Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) Assistance help build and maintain the ICRA structures.
Trenching as needed to assist the trades in installing required electrical or plumbing.
Generally, trenches are dug by machine; there is a need to clean out the spill by hand.
Operate a forklift as needed.
If needed Kitchell will train the individual on the operation of a forklift.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and
Experience:
No experience required.
High School Diploma (Highly preferable).
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to follow directions.
Ability to be flexible and deal with evolving and conflicting priorities by pivoting from one task to the next.
Ability to speak up and ask questions when unsure.
Willingness to learn and conduct varying tasks as needed.
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently inspects the project and may be exposed to ongoing construction and various weather conditions, while wearing personal protective equipment.
The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud.
This position is performed in outside weather conditions.
Physical Requirements:
Reading and communicating plans.
While performing the duties of this job, the position is very active and the employee is frequently standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, digging, trenching and climbing throughout day.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Operating heavy equipment and hand tools.
Travel Requirements:
Limited to no travel will be required for this position.

The hourly rate for this role is currently $32.

The Company's rates are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data.
Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of various factors, including job-related skills, relevant education and experience, abilities of the applicant and equity with other team members.
The hourly rate listed here is subject to change at any time, in the Company's discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
