Under limited supervision, the HR Assistant handles various administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's Human Resources department.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Performs periodic audits of HR files to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Provides clerical support to the HR department.
Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, workers' compensation, and retirement plan providers.
Conducts or assists with new hire onboarding.
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, company meetings, employee recognition events, and more Assist with processing benefit invoices and audits Support management with various job functions and other duties Completes miscellaneous duties & projects as assigned Backup to the Receptionist for breaks and vacation Requirements:
One to Two years of experience in administrative roles preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and other standard office equipment Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
(Experience with Paylocity is a plus).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
