30p position for the right individual to join our team who is looking for less hours These are year round positions-we remain open during summer months.
Position Description:
This position will teach independently in one of our 3 year old classrooms with where all children are potty trained (some assistance with clothing may be needed and at times a child may need to nap in a pull-up).
This classroom will hold a maximum of 12 children.
Age groups in our preschool classrooms will sometimes fluctuate each school year to meet the needs of the children who have been enrolled for that year.
We try to offer each teacher their preferred age category each year, but some flexibility may be required.
You will be responsible for developing a daily schedule, planning curriculum activities, regularly communicating with parents via email and/or Class Dojo or similar app as needed.
Part of your daily activities will need to include a daily bible lesson (story passage, video, craft, etc.
) that is age appropriate for your group of students.
There will also be required class participation in school wide events such as Christmas performance, Easter egg hunt, Moms & Muffins, etc.
Requirements:
A minimum of 12 early childhood education units (child/human growth & dev, child/family/community, program/curriculum, other-infant, school age, etc.
) Knowledge of title 22 CCL regulations Fingerprint clearance or the ability to obtain ASAP CPR/First Aid Certified or the ability to obtain ASAP Job Type:
