Business Analyst

is seeking a Business Analyst to coordinate and coach our software development team in San Diego, CA.
This position supports our Navy customer and requires a US Secret security clearance.
We need a go-to person for applying scrum to produce high-quality work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Help to achieve strategic business goals by using, improving or developing systems.
Identify opportunities for improving processes & procedures.
Utilize technology to eliminate problems and maximize efficiency.
Solid understanding of the Navy organization's goals to support process improvements toward these goals.
Analyze the business processes for inefficiencies.
Make recommendations for solutions or improvements that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
Act as liaison between business stakeholders, such as management, customers or end users, and the software development or information technology team.
Analyze and communicating stakeholder needs by translating business requirements into software requirements.
Document and evaluate required data and information.
Use modeling, testing and data models to improve the flow of information through the organization to enhance project success.
Develop and conduct presentations on a variety of project management, process improvement, LSS/CMMI, software and/or systems engineering topics.
Provide training and education in project management, process improvement and software and systems engineering, as well as LSS known methodology (LSS/CMMI).
Foster process improvement by assisting projects in defining, implementing and improving their engineering, management, and business processes.
Brief customers on best practices, process improvement and Security & Emergency Preparedness Office (SEPO) engineering topics.
Maintain and share best practices using online collaboration and content management tools.
Develop business, project management, LSS-type, software and/or systems engineering policies, standards, processes, and procedures.
Conduct and/or participate in CMMI based appraisals to determine the process maturity of a project or organization.
Presentation support and administrative support as required.
Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience and education in process improvement, project management, business analysis or business process analysis, systems or software engineering.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, organizational and workload management, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills.
Proven ability to work with a variety of systems and sources of data.
Ability to use standard MS office software and a working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint A Bachelor's degree is highly desirable.
An active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree.
DoD experience.
Lean Six Sigma, CMMI, or process improvement knowledge and certification.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
