OtherSan Diego, CAOverviewWe currently have an immediate need for an HR/EH&S intern to support our current growth at our GD-OTS San Diego Location.
In this role, you will be responsible for completing an assigned projects under the direction of the HR and or EHS Managers.
You will also attend company events, prepare reports, and help in the smooth running of our HR/EHS operation.
ResponsibilitiesOur HR/EHS Intern will support the HR/EHS Teams with duties required are performed timeously and correctly.
This will include the following tasks:
Human Resources Employee attention/resources Open enrollment Employee activities Environmental, Health and Safety Update initial Job Safety Analysis.
Develop visuals for risk & environmental impacts for manufacturing activities.
Review & update LO-TO procedures.
Update training records in employees files.
Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in Human Resources, Business Management, Finance, Social Sciences or other related field.
Team player, resourceful, curious, open to feedback.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well with a diverse employee population are essential.
Bilingual English-Spanish required.
Strong computer skills including Excel and Power Point.
Must demonstrate organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, using discretion and independent judgement.
Must be enthusiastic and have the capacity for hard work.
Must be available to work 40
hours a week.
