Position OverviewAward-Winning company is in search of an ambitious candidate to fill the role of Marketing Coordinator.
This employee will be actively involved in the marketing production processes associated with RFQ/RFP responses for new business opportunities for multiple engineering service divisions within the company, as well as maintain creative control over special projects within the marketing department, including brochure design, mailer design, layouts for submittals and firm advertisements.
This individual must have the ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects, and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
This position will be based in any of the company's locations including:
Rancho Cucamonga, Sacramento/Folsom, San Diego, Anaheim, Fresno, San Luis Obispo, Berkeley, Fresno or Bakersfield office.
Responsibilities Organizes, coordinates and controls activities involved in the preparation of marketing proposals, presentations, and submittals.
Actively involved in the development of and is responsible for maintaining all marketing resource materials-brochures, data, archiving, assets, and marketing database.
Supports the corporate office staff as necessary for requests related to office graphics and technical support of marketing production assets.
Directs and oversees the efforts of architects, engineers, consultants and all other staff resources in the firm when formulating coordinated materials that best represent the firm's qualifications.
Liaison with clients, consultants, photographers, service bureaus, printers, and suppliers.
Coordinates work with outside vendors (electronic transfer of data, reprographics, binding, etc.
) and consultants.
Performs research for others upon request.
Technical resource and coordinator for projects, requests, and presentations.
Proofreading, editing, and oversight of select quality control measures.
Additional
Responsibilities:
Organizes, coordinates, authors, maintains marketing assets, including boilerplate, project data, and personnel resumes.
Utilizes content management system to maintain/update the company's corporate web site in coordination with firmwide resources.
Coordinates project photography with Creative Team.
Assists marketing department with special projects as needed.
Requirements:
Equivalent of Bachelor's degree in marketing or technical related field, minimum 2-5 years of experience as a professional in marketing and/or graphic design Prior marketing production experience with A/E/C company a strongly preferred (Experience in K-12 and/or Higher Education experience is a plus) Good organizational, communication, and leadership abilities Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign (latest version) and Microsoft Office Suite (latest version) Basic skills in other Creative Suite products including Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (latest version) Ability to work independently with a self-motivated Do whatever it takes attitude; capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously Working knowledge of PowerPoint, including use of color palettes, master slides, imported elements and template creation Salesforce experience is a plus Ability to generate impressive published products under strict deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to meet highly technical requirements and standards Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects, and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines Excellent written communication skills Ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendor Additional / Overflow (as needed) Internal newsletter (generate content, layout & monthly publishing) Please Note:
