Remote Staff Software Engineer, Product Security

A REMOTE employer is looking to add a Staff Software Engineer, Product Security to their team.
They will be responsible for enhancing the security on a number of their core products.
Their days will consist of security scanning, hazard analysis, and evaluating other practices on how the team can improve security postures.
They will also be implementing software security solutions to comply with industry standards, including encryption, recovery, authentication, patch management, and antivirus.
They will effectively engage with product development teams, to ensure that they are creating effective Incident and Vulnerability Management plans, as well as providing guidance and partnerships with the centralized cybersecurity team to ensure alignment across the organization.
-Cybersecurity certification, such as CISSP, HCISSP, CSSLP, etc.

years of experience in Cybersecurity Engineering, with 2-3 years in Software Engineering-Experience with cybersecurity risk assessment and threat modeling-Experience developing products in Medical Device or a regulated industry-Proficiency in coding technologies, including but not limited to C#/.
NET and/or Java-BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related-Knowledge of information security standards for product development with experience and in-depth understanding of secure software development lifecycle Recommended Skills.
Net Framework C Sharp (Programming Language) Certified Information Systems Security Professional Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional Computer Engineering Cryptography Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
