Job As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our caf in La Jolla.
This role requires strong leadership, passion for quality coffee, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Oversee daily operations of the caf to ensure smooth functioning and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Lead, coach, and develop caf team to perform their roles effectively and create a positive, inclusive working environment.
Drive sales and profitability of the caf by delivering quality products and superior customer service.
Implement and maintain high standards for coffee brewing and presentation.
Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and caf cleanliness.
Maintain inventory levels and manage supplier relationships.
Develop and implement innovative strategies for marketing and customer engagement.
Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
Prepare reports on caf performance for senior management.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the caf or restaurant industry.
Passion for coffee and knowledge of third-wave coffee trends.
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency in managing operational costs, financial planning, and budgeting.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and food service standards.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
