Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will support electrical engineering and development activities, including prototype hardware assembly and harness manufacture, as well as troubleshoot and repair damaged harnesses, test fixtures, and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, be proficient with multimeters, power supplies, and multi-channel oscilloscopes, and have experience with high voltage DC power systems.
In addition, the candidate must be able to read and interpret designs/schematics, troubleshoot circuit problems, and perform failure analysis.
Responsibilities:
Assemble prototype hardware and manufacture harnesses according to engineering specifications.
Troubleshoot and repair damaged harnesses, test fixtures, and PCBAs.
Document new test procedures and report test plan results.
Inspect, rework, and test PCBAs per work instructions supplied by engineering.
Read and interpret designs/schematics and troubleshoot circuit problems.
Proficiently use multimeters, power supplies, and multi-channel oscilloscopes.
Safely work with high voltage DC power systems.
Keep the lab clean and organized, taking ownership of ordering the materials needed to run the lab.
Utilize available resources effectively.
Provide support to the manufacturing and mechanical engineering teams as needed.
Understand power tools, motor drives, controllers, and general mechanical principles, a plus.
Self-delegate tasks from several Engineers.
Background in Aerospace is a plus.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or related field.

years of experience in electrical engineering or related field.
Proficient in the use of multimeters, power supplies, and multi-channel oscilloscopes.
Experience with high voltage DC power systems.
Ability to read and interpret designs/schematics and troubleshoot circuit problems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to self-delegate tasks from several Engineers.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Background in Aerospace is a plus.
