Systems Engineer

Description/Job SummaryDevelops, plans, specifications, and inspection reports as needed on assigned tasks to ensure that these items are complete, accurate, and in accordance with good engineering practice.
Is technically involved in the resolution of design problems that may include performing field investigation or inspections, detailed design work, and detailed checking of design computations done by others, or general coordination of specific design aspect into a project.
Candidate must test, align, troubleshoot, and support the EPLRS radios.
Responsibilities/DutiesProvide Blue in support of Green (BISOG).
Candidate must test, align, troubleshoot, and support the EPLRS radios.
Candidate will provide direct support and installation of various Harris HF, UHF SATCOM, RF-7800 M multiband radios, and associated equipment.
Candidate will be required to travel to various locations, including international travel to install and support the EPLRS project.
Typical duties include complex repairs and modifications to data/communication equipment, coordination of equipment evacuation for repair with other maintenance activities, requisitioning of parts, and monitoring maintenance reports.
Provide technical assistance during the employment and installation of data communication systems.
Required SkillsA Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) certification of Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level 1 is required to perform these duties.
Candidate must be able to obtain a Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) certification of Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level 1 within six months of hire.
The selected candidate will perform Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) functions including log on with a Systems Administrator password to modify user accounts, install software and hardware, reconfigure for testing and troubleshooting, monitor system performance requirements, maintain the system networks, and perform back-ups/restorations.
The following CSWF categories, levels, training, and certifications are required for the candidate under this job posting:
IAT Level 1 for Operating System is required.
The candidate shall have the proper and current Cyber Security (CS) certification to perform CS functions in accordance with DoD 8570.
01 M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.
The candidate shall meet applicable CS certification requirements, including (a) DoD-approved CS workforce certification appropriate for each specified category and level; and (b) appropriate operating system certification for information assurance technical positions as required by DoD 8570.

Candidate must have Harris Corporation FALCON II/III family of radios maintenance experience.
Candidate must have a background in Crypto Modernization, test, alignment, and troubleshooting of the AADS and its associated EPLRS radios and AN/PYQ-10 Simple Key Loader.
The selected candidate must be able to lift/carry up to 75 pounds.
Required ExperienceCandidate must have recent work experience with the above mentioned systems.
Networking experience a plus.
Required QualificationsTravel will be required.
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Candidate must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance if required by our contract.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
