POSITION
Summary:
Responsible for new employee orientation and day-to-day administrative activities.

Essential Functions Statements:
Conducts initial new hire employee orientation; ensures all hiring paperwork is correctly completed.
Responsible for ensuring employees comply with I-9 mandatory documents.
Assures NAID requirements for eligible employees.
Accurate ADP Payroll initial setup for new hires.
Reviews Motor Vehicle Reports and notify HR Manager of any concerns.
Adds employees in driving positions to the DMV Pull list.
Creates and updates files for new hire orientation process, including employee handbook.
Maintains the employee issued cell phone tracking system, ensures information is up-to-date, works with IT, Managers, and Directors to ensure correct issuance of phones.
Uses a digital camera to take employee pictures and makes employee badges.
Creates and types new forms, when necessary.
Keeps inventory of all new hire forms and makes copies as needed.
Checks for validity of required licenses and certifications.
Issues all parking permits, and ensures all information is entered into tracking system and is up to date.
Assists with Leave of Absence correspondences.
Assists with operating the Switchboard as needed, providing excellent customer service.
Assists with mandatory pre-employment drug screening.
Assists with Credit Bureau authorization for pre-employment criminal background, credit report, and/or driving record.
Gives candidates a Credit Bureau Rights form.
Enters employees' information in order to obtain reports and informs Director of HR or HR Manager if results don't match employment application.
Performs other duties as assigned, by supporting the HR department on various projects.
Qualifications:
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
Six months to one year related experience.
Computer Skills:
MS Office Suite, Web, E-Mail.
Work Hours:
8 a.
m.
to 4:
30 p.
m.
, Monday - Friday.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
