KES is looking for motivated Navy Combat Systems experts to provide technical, engineering, test and evaluation support for the planning, execution and post event analysis of AEGIS Combat System Ship Qualification Trials (CSSQT) and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Test and Evaluation (T&E) events.
Responsibilities Provide technical support to AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) Interface validation, shore site installation/integration, integration tests, analytical services and in-port and at-sea assessments.
Provide technical and engineering services in support of tactical and operational interoperability during test and evaluation, integration of BMD Defense capabilities.
Provide test and evaluation data analysis and training required to support Combat System Interoperability for T&E events.
Provide technical support to BMD System Engineering efforts and applicable installations within a lab environment.
Experience Knowledge and experience with AEGIS Combat System (ACS) to include baselines 3.

X, baseline 9 and 10 Open Architecture Computing Environment (OACE), Command and Decision (C&D), SPY, Weapon Control System (WCS), Aegis Display System (ADS), Operational Readiness Test System (ORTS), and legacy Adjuncts (e.

, C&D/Adjunct (A) and WCS/A).
Proven experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and testing shipboard electronic systems is a must.
Ideal candidate will have recent experience as Combat System Maintenance Manager (CSMM) on a AEGIS DDG or CG.
Minimal specific experience and skills include:
At least 6 years Navy experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and testing Navy Combat Systems, Weapon Systems, Computer Networks and/or Display Systems Desire 2
years of job-related experience outside of the Navy Familiarity with Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) functions using the associated Cooperative Engagement Transmission Processing Set (CETPS) system and sub-systems Recent experience working on board US Navy Ships (in port and at sea) is a must.
Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Education This position requires an existing U.
S.
Government DoD granted security clearance/eligibility at the Secret level.
Individual must be able to maintain the necessary security clearance/eligibility for employment.

Citizenship is required.

Navy certification in Fire Control Navy Enlisted Codes (NECs) related to ACS, AWS, ACI/Networks or other integrated weapon systems.
A current DoD SECRET security clearance is required.
High School Diploma AS/BS degree in engineering, computer science or other relevant field helpful but not required.
