QA Automation Engineer

Our client in the Healthcare space is looking for a QA Engineer to join their team! They are seeking a passionate QA Engineer with good critical thinking and problem solving ability.
Someone who has solid web and automated testing experience.

Responsibilities:
Defines testing methodologies, templates, and standards and best practices Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverables Work in direct collaboration with Business Analysts to understand requirements and develop test plans, test cases, and verify test results.
Provide regular reports of testing results to Business Analysts Able to design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks - from conception to the implementation of CI/CD practices Experience in automating complex Web, Mobile, API, DB and desktop-based applications using any of the tools (Postman/Cypress/Playwright/Puppeteer) Strong programming skills in any of these - JavaScript (Ideal), Python, Java, Golang, or Ruby Executes and creates test plans and clear, concise test scripts for new products or enhancements to existing products.
Defines comprehensive scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform testing Schedules and performs functional, integration, regression, and release testing; submits errors and issues to development for correction, and retests once errors have been corrected.
Reports test results and status as appropriate.
Tracks defects and causal analysis to closure Conduct and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements Identify and address issues before handing off product for UAT and implementation Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes Prepare required test documentation, store, and retain as per department standards and procedures.
Familiarity with Unit testing would be great Seeking:

years of practical QA experience testing web applications and APIs 3
years supporting business systems Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks Knowledge of JavaScript (preferred) or Python Ability to think critically while testing functionality, has good technique for problem-solving.
Test automation using tools like Postman, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with team members, customers, and vendors Unit testing experience is a plusJob Types:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
