Antenna Validation Engineer

Job DescriptionQuantalRF is seeking a highly motivated individual to play a key technical role in the development and evolution of its emerging RF/wireless technology.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency in antenna fundamentals and validation, in particular for cellular, Wi-Fi, and 5G applications.
They will also have the ability to think out-of-the-box and interface seamlessly with other members of the validation and design teams.
Typical responsibilities include:
Performing over-the-air validation and characterizing various antennas in terms of return loss, gain, radiation pattern, group delay, etc.
This includes individual antennas as well as RF modules with integrated antennas.
Running, debugging, and developing measurement scripts (mainly in MATLAB and Python) for various over-the-air measurements upon request.
Designing and overseeing the building of antenna testing hardware using AutoCAD or equivalent modeling software.
Scrutinizing results before presentation to ensure decisions are made based on correct values.
Work with customer requirements for integration of QuantalRF technology and supporting the validation team with RFIC characterization.
Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Solid understanding of over-the-air antenna validation as well as RF fundamentals including S-parameters, power gain, group delay, impedance matching, etc.
Proficient in use of RF test equipment such as network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generators, power meters, digitizing oscilloscopes, signal generators, DMMs, and programmable power supplies for characterization and tuning of design RF Front-End components.
Experience using AutoCAD or equivalent modeling software.
Programming experience with MATLAB and Python.
Familiarity with version control software such as Git.

Additional Desirable Skills and Experience Proficiency in SCPI programming.
PCB design/debug skills.
Experience in root-cause debugging investigations.
Experience in working in one or more startup companies.
Familiarity with 3D printing technology and hands-on experience in constructing mechanical prototypes from scratch, demonstrating strong practical skills and resourcefulness.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
