KEY DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Performs advanced administrative tasks related to supporting Project Managers in the coordination and implementation of operational services projects and initiatives, including maintaining project calendar and status updates, collecting data and signatures, preparing, and distributing communications, preparing PowerPoint and other materials, follows-through on pending matters, and performs other duties as requested to ensure successful project completion.
Performs various administrative duties including:
answers and screens incoming calls, responds to questions or forwards to appropriate personnel; screens mail and handles as authorized or forwards to appropriate personnel; files, copies, and distributes documents; creates and maintains departmental files; maintains calendars; schedules meetings and communicates dates, times, and locations.
Coordinates events, meetings, and conferences with cross-functional departments and/or regions; prepares agendas; coordinates and oversees set-up of meeting facilities; prepares meeting materials; makes travel arrangements, requiring coordination with multiple individuals and/or departments; and performs other activities to ensure event/meetings run smoothly.
Composes and distributes communications to internal employees, field partners, and franchise operators through the portal homepages, newsletters, digital monitors, presentations, etc.
to convey Jack in the Box news, goals, and operational initiatives and projects.
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of content and distribution.
Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed.
Qualifications:
Education High school diploma or GED, associate or bachelors degree in business preferred.
Experience 3-4 years administrative support experience, including project coordination activities.
Experience in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Strong oral and written English communication skills.
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain tact and diplomacy in interacting with others.
Ability to embrace and work effectively with all position levels.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to quickly learn and understand other company applications.
Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.
Physical Requirements - Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone.
Ability to operate a computer keyboard.
Ability to travel approximately 10% of time as business needs require.
The range for this position is $25.
29 - $36.
06(hourly)and is based on an employee located at our corporate headquarters in San Diego.
If the candidate is hired in a different city to work remote, we will apply a geographic pay differential based on the cost of labor in the market in which the employee resides.
