Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers - Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries - Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment or manual labor - Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner - Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving - Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred - Familiarity with courier, moving, or route driving is a plus - Proficient in using GPS navigation systems to find the most efficient routes - Knowledge of forklift operation for loading and unloading heavy items is an advantage - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively This position requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
The ideal candidate should have good time management skills, be reliable, and have the ability to work independently.
