Project Manager - 1705133 with Security Clearance
We are looking for a Technically savvy and hand's on Project Manager with an Engineering background to lead the development, integration and demonstration of advanced communications and networking technologiesIn this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of project execution and provide strategic guidance to the team and stakeholdersOur work focuses on DoD network and tactical communications providing a variety of communications abilities to USN and USMC platforms including tactical data links, line of site and beyond line of sight radios, and crossbanding of IP dataThis engineering-minded Project Manager must be passionate about enhancing operator capabilities with user-focused communication, network, and software systemsWhat you'll do:
oDeliver innovative software, network, and hardware solutions that enhance network and IP-based communications oEnsure cost, schedule, and technical requirements are met oWork as a team throughout the design process, supporting sprint planning sessions, code reviews, and scrums oGet in front of real-world operators to understand needs and requirements from an end-user point of view oProvide input for project planning and proposals oCreate relationships with customers, stakeholders, and industry partners oEnsure system development environment and system attributes align with DoD security requirements oParticipate in demonstration planning with customers and overarching experiment managers oExecute technical demonstrations oOversee internal development level test, verify system objectives are met with comprehensive test cycles oProvide strategic guidance to project teams and stakeholder Requirements We are looking for:
Ideal candidates will have experience in technical leadership and early product development including requirements development, system design, system integration and test for complex technical systemsoBachelor's Degree in an Engineering field of study or Bachelor's degree with related experience in an engineering field o5-7 years of hands-on experience in designing, development and implementing technical systems oExperience leading teams in the engineering development, testing and deployment of complex systems oExperience with DoD R&D process and life cycle management oWorking knowledge and experience with military networking systems oUnderstanding of system test process including experience producing test plans and procedures oFamiliarity with Agile development and professional SW development environments oU.Scitizenship oCurrent US SECRET Clearance Nice to have:
oExperience with USMC Communications networks and C4ISR oManagement Degree, MBA, or similar certification (such as PMP) oExperience leading development of software based systems oUnderstanding of networking and network troubleshooting Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Certified Project Management Professional Code Review Leadership Network Troubleshooting Networking Apply to this job.
