00 an hour About us We are a small but growing property management firm with operations in San Diego, Palm Springs, San Francisco and Oakland, California.
NOTE:
This is a part-time / on-call position in San Diego, and typically the compensation is just enough that you live onsite rent-free.
We usually expect applicants to have and to maintain another job or have another source of reliable income.

Property management, especially the role of Resident Manager, is an extremely variable kind of work that is not for everyone! Duties - Oversee the daily operations and management of a residential property - Ensure the property is well-maintained and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Suggest improvements to the property and / or to the units for resident retention, etc - Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner - Be the primary point of contact between tenants and the Main Office - Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs for the property - Handle emergencies of various kinds appropriately and as needed (on-call) - Conduct regular inspections (including some night-time inspections) of the property to identify any maintenance or safety issues - Manage lease agreements, including new leases, renewals, and terminations - Collect rent payments and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded - Create and maintain accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, vendor / contractor information, etc - Ensure prompt, detailed, and accurate documentation of emergencies and incidents of various kinds - Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain a safe and peaceful living environment - Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality services are provided to residents Skills - Strong data entry skills with very high attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes or conflicts effectively - Familiarity with or willingness to learn and follow relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards such as Fair Housing regulations - Property leasing, including marketing vacant units, conducting tours Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
