We're looking for a motivated leader to own our roadmap, partner cross-functionally, and make it reality. Is that you?
Every customer who uses an iPhone, iPad, or Mac uses Settings. Our ongoing challenge is to deliver an experience that is simple to use and understand even as our system's features get more advanced. We'll achieve this by establishing conventions, tooling, and platform support for teams who own Settings experiences, including ourselves.
As engineering manager of the Settings team, your responsibilities will include:
growing and hiring direct reports, prioritizing work across the team, representing the team's work within broad efforts, and influencing stakeholders and partners to deliver the needed impact. You'll lead the charge in an area with incredible breadth because Settings ultimately spans the whole system, you'll quickly become familiar with system features. You'll also collaborate with outstanding engineering and cross-functional colleagues who will help you succeed and grow as we deliver an incredible user experience together.Education & ExperienceBachelor of Computer Science or equivalent skills and work experiencePay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $174,000.00 and $301,000.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
