Summary:
We are a small civil law seeking a part time Entry Level Legal Assistant to join our team.
As a Legal Assistant, you will provide support to our legal team and assist with various tasks related to legal proceedings and documentation.

Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with legal research, document review, and preparation of legal documents - Client Communication and Bill - Transcribe and proofread legal documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal guidelines - Perform data entry tasks to maintain and update case files and databases - Assist in drafting correspondence, memos, and other legal documents - Coordinate appointments, meetings, and court appearances for attorneys - Provide administrative support such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars
Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities - Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and court and law enforcement staff - Proficient in data entry with high accuracy - Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure
