Handles guest arrivals and departures in a courteous and efficient manner.

Plays a key role in ensuring that all guest needs are met in a timely manner by interacting and communicating closely with other departments in the hotel.
Continuously provides excellent customer service when making reservations and uses effective up-selling techniques.
Maintains a house bank and conforms to established cash handling procedures.
Processes guest billing using cash, checks, credit cards and special billing.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED.
At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training.
If no educational background, at least 1 year.
Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
Experience in dealing with the public is preferred, such as retail cashier, food industry service, guest service with public contacts, etc.
