In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and verification of Power Integrity solutions for SoCs used in Apple devices. You will work with multi-functional teams to develop of droop targets, design and implement a power supply network solution, and verify the quality of the power supply using lab measurements.Key QualificationsExperience in design and analysis of product power supply solutionExperience in PI/SI methodology development, PDN modeling from system to die, and lab correlation/validationUnderstanding of power supply architecture covering voltage regulator technologies, PCB and package design trends and trade-offs, and chip supply design including low-power design methodologiesDeep understanding of Voltage Regulator design principles and electrical performance in the system environmentGood knowledge in 3D/2D EM simulation tools, electromagnetic and transmission line theoryFamiliar with lab equipment including but not limited to VNA, real-time scope, spectrum analyzerAbility to work and communicate efficiently in a multi-functional teamDescription- Power delivery modeling, simulation, and characterization for die, package, board, and Voltage Regulator
- Work with on-die/package/board power delivery for current and future generations
- Define the power architecture and design solution space for the target system
- Provide implementation guidelines and feedback to silicon, package, and system design group
- Perform feasibility study, design verification, and sign off
- Perform model to hardware correlation on component and product/system levelEducation & Experience-BS and 3+years of relevant industry experiencePay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500.00 and $243,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple s discretionary employee stock programs. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
