We're looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Provide procurement - purchasing laboratory support to Lilly Biotech Center (LBC) in San Diego and BioTDR/Immunology (Indy based) management, scientific teams, and operational support teamsKey Objectives/Deliverables:
Duties include assisting business partners and scientists with their supply, equipment and service procurement purchasing needs through various procurement systems including but not limited to eCat, ERM, EBP shopping cart and P-Card.Communicate with management, colleagues, and outside vendors on a regular basis to keep up to date on any open purchasing issues and discuss ideas and resolutions.Active member of LBC Operations team. Responsibilities include participation with operations team assignments and duties.Act as backup for current procurement assistant.Other assignments as requiredMinimum of 2 years of purchasing and/or procurement experienceHigh school diploma/GED Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
