Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and development of satellite communication (SATCOM) systems. Responsibilities may include requirements definition, design of system/network architectures, signal processing algorithm development, modem RF and digital design, communication waveform design (PHY and MAC), simulation and analysis of system performance, and support of software implementation, integration and testing. The Systems Engineer may also get involved with SATCOM terminal design, link budget analysis and performance analysis including IP baseband and RF studies/analyses. The Systems Engineer will also provide leadership and technical support for major proposals as required and may provide project/program management support as needed.
BS (MS or PhD degree preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or other technical field and at least 11 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. We will consider Engineers from principal-level (at least 11 years of experience) to senior principal-level (at least 15 years of experience). Additional requirements include experience in MAC layer design optimization. Experience with simulation of Dynamic Resource Allocation algorithms and various communication system and network architectures and SATCOM network control and management experience are highly desirable. Experience with TDMA waveforms and C/C programming is also desired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
