FTD Companies is seeking a Temporary Accountant for responsible for general accounting including maintaining daily cash spreadsheet, 3rd party billings and collections, preparation of journal entries, maintenance of balance sheet schedules and reconciliation of credit card statements. Actively participates in monthly closings and account analysis and reconciliation and supports the department.
What you will do:
Maintains daily Paymentech and Paypal cash reconciliations.
Invoices 3rd parties on a monthly basis and follows-up on past due invoices.
Prepares on a timely basis monthly reconciliations as per the attached list.
Reconciles monthly corporate credit cards statements and ensures that there is proper support for all charges.
Create and Update Vendor Forms for Accounts Payable
Review and Approve Batches for Accounts Payable
Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelors' degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field strongly preferred, or equivalent experience.
Previous Accounts Payable experience strongly desired.
Strong initiative and ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects
Strong follow-through on all projects and proven ability to bring projects to timely completion.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to coordinate timely information gathering from multiple sources.
Proven ability to grasp new concepts and apply these concepts to improve the performance of the department.
Knowledge of Excel as well as other Microsoft products.
