REGISTERED NURSE(RN) Progressive Care Unit - Scripps System-Wide Resource Pool

The types of opportunities we offer are as follows:
SYSTEM WIDE FLOAT TEAM - Permanent Scripps employees who support the day-to-day and short-term assignments.
Seeking part-time and full-time staff with options for day or night shift.
SYSTEM WIDE RESOURCE TEAM - Permanent Scripps employees who support long-term assignments, typically 12 weeks in duration.
Seeking full-time staff with varied shifts.
Experience/Specialized Skills: Two (2) years of recent RN experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) department within a hospital setting. Minimum of 6 months with telemetry. Will consider someone with 18 months of experience with two or more years of experience in a second specialty area. Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Required Certification/Registration: Current CA RN License. Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS prior to start.
Required Education/Course(s)/Training: Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Travel Requirements: Work between the five (5) Scripps Health hospital campuses: Encinitas, La Jolla, Torrey Pines, San Diego, and Chula Vista.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
