Description:
Engility is in need of a Network Engineer to support one of our NAVSEA Programs in San Diego, CA.
The Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting NAVSEA client with developing System of Systems (SoS) architecture for Frigate Shipbuilding Program.
They will be responsible for understanding of Model Based System Engineering and take responsibility for leading engineering team to support subproject within a total project portfolio.
The Network Engineer will provide engineering and design activities to support complex decision-making issues as well as review technical and engineering drawings, provide updates, and recommend system configuration changes The Network Engineer will be responsible for the coordination with NAVSEA and SPAWAR Technical Points of Contact to discuss specific design requirements and details as well as the tracking, maintaining, and editing project plan status and action items.
They will collect, analyze, and evaluate historical data and expert opinion to provide a basis for assumptions, methodologies, and estimate results; translate functional and technical requirements into design concepts and provide detailed design inputs to system requirements, specifications, and drawings as well as review system design documentation for compliance with applicable requirements, NAVSEA and SPAWAR instructions, and statutory and regulatory policies The Network Engineer will be responsible for presenting recommendations for requirements applicability and design changes to Engility and Navy Client Leadership in the form of AoA, White Papers, and visual presentations (e.
g.
, MS PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
).
They will support development and presentation of SoS architecture recommendations to Senior Engility and Navy leadership, including at the Flag/SES level.
Qualifications:
Ability to obtain INTERIM SECRET Clearance in short period of time leading to a full SECRET clearance 10 - 15 years' experience providing Systems Engineering support Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Cybersecurity, or equivalent applicable discipline Experience with networking technology (e.
g.
, Cisco, Brocade, etc.
) Demonstrated expertise with conducting AOAs and providing design recommendations for Cybersecurity architectures and network designs Demonstrated ability to communicate recommendations orally and in writing to Senior Leadership to summarize and effectively communicate information and summarize data into reports for project staff and leadership Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Ability to work at the detailed level and not lose sight of the big picture Ability to summarize and effectively communicate information and summarize data into reports for project staff and leadership Security Certification
Qualifications:
No less than 5 years' experience supporting Navy Shipbuilding programs No less than 10 years' experience directly supporting NAVSEA and/or SPAWAR programs CCNA Certification CISSP Certification Windows Server Certification Experience with Navy C4ISR Systems Current SECRET Clearance adjudicated within past 5 years Experience with Magic Draw EEO Statement:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
