INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

At the GS-09 grade level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Inventory Management Specialist work applying a practical knowledge of well-established and commonly applied supply program principles, concepts, and methodologies of inventory management and supply procedures as they relate to government owned material to perform analytical work in managing, regulating, coordinating, or otherwise exercising control over supplies, equipment, or other material in support of ships repair and maintenance. Examples of specialized experience includes the following:
1) Determine current and anticipated storage requirements; 2) Participate in reviewing warehousing activities to ensure processes stay current; 3) Ensure proper flow of incoming and outgoing inventory to support maintenance planning and production; At the GS-07 grade level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Inventory Management Specialist work applying a practical knowledge of well-established and commonly applied supply program principles, concepts, and methodologies of inventory/material management to perform analytical work in managing, regulating, coordinating, or otherwise exercising control over supplies, equipment, or other material in support of ships repair and maintenance. Examples of specialized experience are as follows:
1) Safeguard all material and equipment's entering warehouses, proper identification, tracking and updating of material management systems; 2) Participates in the coordination of special services required for movement of equipment and material in support of shipping and delivery; 3) Assist in organizing an efficient and effective receiving, shipping, and warehousing facility; Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
