JOB
Summary:
Responsible for developing marketing plans for existing and new product launches that include, but are not limited to:
marketing collateral creation, customer targeting, value proposition, market and competitive analyses, promotional planning, and sales training tools.
Manage day-to-day activities of product line(s) including receiving sales and/or customer feedback and documenting through proper channels, troubleshooting logistical and technical issues, collaborating with Customer Service and Operations to execute fulfillment of on-time delivery of orders.
Responsible for product life cycle management including working with cross-functional teams to plan for and execute different phases of the product life cycle.
Analyze market data and trends, company sales, and make modifications to product strategies accordingly.
Collaborate responsively and proactively with the sales team to provide product technical, clinical, and selling support and participate in key sales activities.
Monitor competitive landscape to stay up to date on market trends by regularly reviewing scientific literature, competitor product offerings, traveling with the sales team, attending surgeries, and meeting with customers.
Develop and present business cases as justification for new products or business investments.
Collaborate with surgeon customers to translate clinical feedback into product requirements for development projects and R&D initiatives.
Collaborate with surgeon customers to create educational platforms and content related to respective product line and/or procedure(s).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
(list required and preferred separately) Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business management, marketing, biosciences, or engineering.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Product Marketing, Product Management or equivalent in medical device industry, preferably in spine and orthopedics.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
(list required and preferred separately)Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English); excellent computer skillsAbility to create a well-thought-out strategy, diplomatically align cross-functional team members to a plan, and reliably execute to commitments.
Proven ability to influence others to action with no direct reporting structure and ensure efficient and successful outcomesAbility to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization and with external partners and customers.
Mature judgment and strong decision-making ability often supported by data analytics and broad understanding of corporate goals Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, organize and assign priorities, and ensure efforts are accomplished in a timely and efficient manner Ability and willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice.
In order to provide necessary technical support and coverage during surgical cases, the PM must be willing to spend extended periods of time in hospitals and operating room.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
