Sony TC-WE605S Dual Cassette Deck w/AMS & RMS Dubbing for sale in San Diego, CA
Up for sale is the Sony TC-WE605S dual cassette deck. This is one of the few dual cassette decks to feature Dolby S noise reduction in addition to the older B and C standards. Cosmetically it is in very good condition with clean face plate. There are some scratches on the top of the deck due to prior component stacking (pic #6). Heads on both sides are clean. Functionally it is in good working condition. All 4 belts were replaced about 1 year ago and it was used throughout 2020, although not frequently. Prior to listing, playback was tested on both decks as well as record on the deck B in both forward and reverse using both type I and II tapes (deck A is playback only). Additional functions tested on both decks are FF, REW, and AMS on both direction. Dubbing was tested from deck A to B at high speed and works well. Speed on both decks were adjusted using a reference tape to proper speed. Please feel free to contact me if you have additional question(s).
