Vehicle Description 1955 Pontiac Star chief Convertible For Sale, in '55 GM was making wonders with many new editions and power options, the design holds true today and are some of the most desirable and sought after years of the 50's out there.
This 1955 Pontiac Star Chief is no exception in its second year of production it received a massive face lift and cool styling was its theme until production ceased in 1966.
It was one of the Luxury models of the brand and was equipped as such, the '55 Chevy was equipped with its 162 hp 265ci engine while the Pontiac got the 180hp 287hp.
54 Pontiac had offered AC as luxury that Chevrolet couldn't meet in this price bracket.
The Pontiac was and always has been a much finer car, although many Chevy were built and bought, tending to gather more attention the sophisticated buyer always had his eye on a Star Chief.
This vehicle was previously owned by my consignors father who unfortunately passed away some time ago, this is was his baby and he took care of it well.

Several years have passed and the car was passed down and unfortunately it has not been driven much over the years.
